Inside the K8 is a high-quality carbon block filter capable of removing chlorine and some heavy metals. That said, the K8 excels as an ionizer, not as a filter.

You will still want to install micron filters, UV filters, water softeners, and whatever else your property needs. What the K8 does best is breathe life back into your drinking water after all those filters take it out.
